Ultra-High Intensity UV Lamp Makes Even the Smallest Leaks Glow Brighter!

Tracer Products has announced the TP-1600P, ultra-high intensity UV lamp that makes even the tiniest leaks glow brightly!  This popular unit, with its unique 150-watt Built-In-Ballast™ bulb is perfect for pinpointing leaks such as oil, hydraulics, refrigerant, gasoline, diesel fuel or water.

The TP-1600P is very lightweight.  It has a total weight of 3 ¼ lbs (1.5 kg) and its dimensions are 6 ¾ x 10 ¼ inches (17.1 x 26 cm) including the heat/guard stand.  Its ergonomically designed handle is positioned for better balance, easier handling and reduced hand fatigue over long periods of time.  The Built-In-Ballast™ bulb eliminates the need for a heavy, external transformer.

The housing on the TP-1600P is constructed of a super-strong engineering polymer that is dent-proof and impact-resistant.  The lamp’s filter is crack-resistant and is protected by a filter holder that is easily removable for bulb and filter maintenance.  The vinyl-coated, stainless-steel, wraparound caging protects against burns and acts as a lamp stand.

The bulb has a rated life of 5,000 hours and are offered in 120V, 230V, 240V and
100V versions.  The TP-1600P is also available as a complete kit, which includes the lamp, UV-absorbing glasses, and an 8 oz spray bottle of GLO-AWAY™ dye cleaner packed in a sturdy plastic carrying case.
