The Tracerline® PRO-Alert 2791™ Electronic Refrigerant Leak Detector has been selected as one of MOTOR Magazine’s “Top 20 Tools” for 2009 and is featured in its September issue. The Pro-Alert 2791 utilizes a state-of-the-art infrared sensor that accurately detects refrigerant leaks down to 0.1 oz/year (3 g/year). Its three-position sensitivity switch minimizes false triggering and allows for easy diagnosis of small, medium and large leaks. It is sensitive to R-12, R-134a and all other HFC refrigerants. The unit is certified to meet the new SAE J2791 standard for electronic refrigerant leak detectors. Sensor life is an incredible 1,000 hours or more!
Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, the detector provides over six hours of use between charges. The unit can also be used with a 120 VAC power adapter and a 12 DC VDC power adapter with cigarette lighter plug (included). All components are packed in a rugged plastic carrying case.
