New Carbon Dioxide Leak Detector
Tracer Products has introduced the TP-9361 PRO-Chek CO2™, the world’s first electronic leak detector designed exclusively to detect carbon dioxide – the “next generation” refrigerant. The unit features a technologically advanced infrared sensor capable of detecting leaks down to
0.2 oz/year (6 g/year).
The Pro-Chek CO2 has a high/low sensitivity switch for accurate diagnosis of both large and small leaks. Its advanced circuitry equalizes the CO2 in the atmosphere, reducing the risk of false alarms. A high-efficiency air sampling pump provides quicker response and clearing (“zeroing”). The unit’s chrome-plated, flexible metal probe slithers into tight areas and holds its position. An audible alarm and multiple LEDs help pinpoint leaks fast!
The PRO-Chek CO2 is powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, which provides over six hours of use between charges. On-board diagnostics indicate charging status, and alert the user to low battery or infrared sensor failure. The unit can be used with a 120 VAC power adapter or a 12 VDC power adapter with cigarette lighter plug (included). All components are packed in a rugged carrying case.
