Tracer Products and INFICON Join Forces to Market Specialty Tools
Tracer Products, a division of Spectronics Corporation, has entered into an agreement with INFICON in which it will become the exclusive supplier of INFICON designed specialty tools to the automotive repair industry.
INFICON has a solid reputation for producing high-quality, reliable, easy-to-use tools for the automotive repair industry, at affordable prices. It has manufacturing facilities in the United States and abroad, and offers a wide variety of specialized tools to meet the varying needs of the service professional. INFICON specialty tools will be private-labeled under the Tracerline® brand.
Among the tools to be introduced under the Tracerline® banner are three refrigerant leak detectors. One meets the new SAE J2791 standard and another is the world’s first detector designed exclusively for use with carbon dioxide — the “next generation” refrigerant. A refrigerant scale, vacuum/micron gauge, carbon monoxide meter, and combustible gas leak detector round out the specialty tool lineup.
Tracer Products has been at the forefront of fluorescent leak detection technology for more than half a century, with top-of-the-line tracer dyes, inspection lamps, dye injection hardware and specialized diagnostic tools. With Tracer and INFICON’s combined expertise in manufacturing superior leak detection products for the automotive industry, these new products are bound to garner interest from repair technicians around the globe.
