Dye-Lite^® Application-Specific Dyes

* Use with UV lamps only

* For auto body leak checks, mix dye in proper dilution with water and use the TracerJet™
spray gun (TP-1131) to spray the dye/water solution on the outside of the vehicle where a leak
is suspected. Check inside the vehicle with a Tracerline® inspection lamp for leaks.

The dilution ratios of Tracerline® fluorescent dyes to the host fluids shown above are only guidelines. These ratios can be increased or decreased depending on the fluorescent response required and the ambient lighting conditions. A simple way to check for proper fluorescence is to shine the UV or blue light lamp on the fluid reservoir of a system and check for a bright fluorescent response.

Engine Coolant (TP-3900)
Leak detection dye for all engine coolants and auto body leak checks. Works with any leak detection
inspection lamp.

Clear-Blue™ (TP-3920)
Leak detection dye for all engine coolants, including extended-life coolants. Ford-approved.
Requires a long-wave UV lamp such as the Tracerline® TP-1390, TP-1600P, TP-1700P, TP-8690UV or
TP-35000. Will not discolor the coolant, which could lead to misdiagnosis of engine problems.

Rite-Blend™ (TP-3940)
Blended leak detection dye for all engine coolants, including extended-life coolants. GM-approved.
Works with any fluorescent leak detection inspection lamp. Will not discolor the coolant, which could
lead to misdiagnosis of engine problems.
